Fans have become more ravenous for Grand Theft Auto 6 than ever before, with pre-orders being seemingly imminent. Leaked affiliate emails and promotional campaigns have stirred gamers into a frenzy, especially with Best Buy and other retailers being thrown into the mix, but nothing official has been announced regarding Grand Theft Auto 6’s pre-orders or what day we can hope to see them go live.

The day that fans believed pre-orders would come came and went, much to the dismay of everyone who was desperate for these Grand Theft Auto 6 leaks and rumors to be true. And, while we have confirmation of why the foretold day was a bust, it doesn’t mean that pre-orders might not launch any day now.

According to GTAForums users, internal company emails suggested the Best Buy leak was incorrect, and that Grand Theft Auto 6 pre-orders launching on May 18, the specific day they were alleged to, were untrue (as of now, it is obvious that pre-orders did not end up going live that day).
