The former Twitch streamer Dr Disrespect has recently changed his header image on Twitter, making fans curious about the possible reasons for the update. Herschel “Guy” Beahm IV, also known as Dr Disrespect, was permanently banned from Twitch in 2020, and the gaming content creator recently received strong backlash when the reasons behind the ban surfaced.
For a long time, the reasons behind Dr Disrespect’s ban remained a secret. Back in June, however, former Twitch staff member Cody Conners claimed that Dr Disrespect was banned from Twitch due to sexting with a minor using Whispers, a private messaging service that Twitch had at the time. While Beahm originally denied the accusations, he later acknowledged some of the truth in the rumors and announced that he would take a vacation soon.
