The Legend of Zelda is celebrating a very big birthday as a franchise this year, finally hitting 40 years since those first shaky pixels shuffled onto our screens during the Famicom Disk System/Nintendo Entertainment System era. Since then, things have grown exponentially, and it's easily one of the most iconic series in the history of video games overall.

To mark the occasion, fans are expecting some pretty big announcements from Nintendo themselves, though we haven't had too much up to this point. Now, things are starting to shift, and we've had confirmation of a very cool new line of products that you'll likely want to pick up, but it won't come cheap if you want all of them.

Over on Twitter/X, the official page for Nintendo of Japan shared two updates about new products releasing in the country. The post reads as follows:

"From Hanayama-san, the new set of 'Escape: The Legend of Zelda' will be released on April 25. Themed around 'Hylian Shield' and 'Kabadna's Signboard,' why not try challenging the puzzle?"
