Once Human is off to a stellar start. The game has received praise for its fair monetization, allowed for the building of some amazing bases, and lets you have a cat as a pet. It's also maintained a consistent 100k+ players.

The survival game is the latest in a long line of games to emphasize humanity in their titles.

That goodwill could be about to take a bit of a hit, though, depending on which side of the coin you land on, as players cant decide whether a door found in NetEase's free-to-play title is a reference to Remedy's Control or whether it's been ripped straight from the game.

The doors in question bear some striking similarities.

Both are giant metal security doors with the word "SHELTER" brandished across them. They both feature a yellow band displaying the shelter's maximum occupancy, and each features smaller pieces of text displaying the shelter model, shelter ID, and shelter protection rating. Each of the aforementioned pieces of writing are also positioned in exactly the same place.
