Minecraft officially unveils the newest biome coming in one of the next game drops, alongside revealing the title of the Minecraft Movie sequel.

Reports began appearing that Minecraft servers were experiencing issues at around 12:30 AM PST, with the website Downdetector showing increasing numbers of users unable to access the game. Affected users have been encountering error messages when attempting to launch Minecraft. One message states, "Oh no! Something went wrong, and we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services." Another indicates that the game was unable to verify ownership information. The issue appears to be related to the game's authentication services, potentially preventing players from logging in or accessing online features such as Realms or multiplayer servers. Users launghing Minecraft through third-party applications like Prism Launcher and CurseForge are also reporting similar problems. At the time of writing, Mojang has not yet issued a message about the outage, and the exact cause of the disruption remains unclear.
