If they act soon, Steam users can claim a unique 2D asymmetric co-op game completely free of charge, titled Linebound. Whereas asymmetric multiplayer games are not unheard of, asymmetric co-op games are genuinely rarer. What that means is that, while player A is completing one task, player B is completing something else entirely, but they are reliant on each other. Traditional co-op games like Split Fiction have parallel tasks; asymmetric co-op games have drastically different tasks.
It's worth noting that while this is a Free-to-Keep game on Steam, it is not part of Steam's Free-to-Keep Promotion. Linebound is free to keep if claimed within the first month post-launch, meaning anyone who claims it before the end of June can keep it forever. After that, Linebound will transition to a full, paid, premium model. This tactic seems worthwhile, though, because as of this writing, Linebound has 100% Positive reviews (out of 19). That number can only go down, really, but that does mean some folks have snagged it free and enjoyed it so far.
