The Legend of Zelda is 40 years old this year, and the older games are at the front of everyone's thoughts ahead of potential major announcements from Nintendo themselves. What those announcements will be remains unclear, but there's plenty of speculation about one game in particular.
For many, Ocarina of Time is still the best game in the series, ever. It offers a perfect blend of fantasy storytelling, fun gameplay, and memorable characters in a single package that really wasn't like anything else we had played at the time. That said, it has started to show its age, and then there's been some updated versions over the years, it really does feel like time for another adventure.
Happily, there are plenty of clever people out there who take matters into their own hands with this kind of thing, and one of the best around is working on a remake of Ocarina of Time that needs to be seen to be believed.
