Fallout 4 Gets Huge Expansion Following Official Update

When it comes to modding, there is no denying that PC gamers have it a lot easier. Allowing mods to be quite significant in size, console users have had to look on from the shadows as the limited storage in recent Xbox and PlayStation hardware has meant that many large mods have been inaccessible to them.

However, that all changed earlier this week, at least for Fallout 4 fans, after the Bethesda RPG got a significant storage update on consoles. Originally, Fallout 4 players only had a meager 1GB of storage that they could use to mod the game. However, following the update, Xbox Series X/S users now have access to an impressive 100GB to play with. In comparison, the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 storage for Fallout 4 has been increased to 15GB due to the limitations on last-gen consoles.

Nevertheless, the patch is now live, and console users can explore all that the modding community for Fallout 4 has to offer without the limitations that have been in place since the game launched back in 2015.
