The Star Wars Jedi series really made a name for itself in an instant. Making a huge mark on both gaming and the Star Wars universe, Fallen Order released in 2019 to rave reviews, and following some patches that smoothed out a few rough edges, it went on to enter the pantheon of modern action-adventure games.

The format was incredibly enticing: marrying Souls-like elements with the Star Wars universe, which is already perfect for exploration and discovery. It helps that the team got Cameron Monaghan to voice the hero, Cal Kestis, as well as several other acting veterans who helped flesh out the cast and bring it to life. At this point, they feel more like a fixture in the Star Wars world than a lot of other modern projects.

Arguably, 2023's Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was a step-up, adding more complexity to the mix along with bigger stakes, and we've been waiting for the follow-up ever since. Thankfully, fans on Reddit are already discussing Cal's official return.
