Open world racing continues to grow in the video game industry thanks to both the likes of Forza Horizon, The Crew and even Need for Speed. The later has been dormant for some time, and the former just so happens to have had someone branch off and start their own project. CLUTCH will be launching for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The game will be an open world racing game from the former Forza Horizon 5 Creative Director and other staff. That Creative Director's name is Mike Brown, and this company's name is Maverick Games. Customization will have an important focus. You can watch the official reveal trailer below.

No, this isn't the band Clutch, but rather an open-world, cinematic racing game that looks to blend both the elements of Forza Horizon and the Need for Speed series. While Need for Speed has had its share of open-world games, they never quite met the expectations of Forza Horizon. That series has also been dormant for quite some time. Now, Maverick Games wants to bring car customization and upgrades into an open-world that will feature a storyline narrative to drive the experience....
