Marvel’s Wolverine Fans Hoping For A Collector’s Edition Are Out Of Luck

If you’re a fan of special editions and Collector’s Editions of games like I am, then you were probably hoping that Marvel’s Wolverine, the upcoming title from Insomniac Games starring everyone’s favorite Canadian mutant, would also get one.

Sadly, at least right now, that doesn’t appear to be the case.

According to what has been shared so far, Marvel’s Wolverine will only be available in a Standard Edition and a Digital Deluxe Edition. That lines up with what is currently listed on the PlayStation Store, where the Standard Edition is priced at $69.99 and the Digital Deluxe Edition is priced at $79.99.

So, yeah, no fancy statue, no steelbook, and no big Collector’s Edition box to sit on the shelf next to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. And yes, I happen to love that Collector’s Edition, even if I still think it was overpriced.

The Digital Deluxe Edition does come with some extra goodies, including five exclusive suits, five exclusive claws, three Technique Points, the Classic Brown Suit early unlock, Reflective Claws early unlock, one additional Technique Point, and four PlayStation Avatars.
