The June PlayStation State of Play showcase has revealed that the dinosaur survival experience The Lost Wild will be arriving sometime in 2027 on PS5 and PC. The game, which is being developed by Great Ape Games and will be published by Annapurna Interactive, were not the only titles to get viewers excited during the event.
The June State of Play featured more than 60 minutes of trailers and gameplay reveals for upcoming PS5 titles, including a 20-minute introduction to the entry in the God of War franchise, subtitled Laufey. Additionally, Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, the first of two upcoming projects in the franchise, announced that it will be launching in February of next year. Rayman Legends Retold, a remake of the highly rated 2013 platform game, was also revealed to be coming later in 2026.
The survival genre of video games continues to evolve, with these upcoming titles introducing new and fascinating gameplay features.
