A master LEGO builder manages to turn the Pokemon Eevee set into the cute alien E.T. with no additional pieces used. While LEGO Pokemon sets haven't made all fans happy with the abundance of Smart Play releases and critter designs, the Eevee set that came out on Pokemon Day is arguably one of the best so far. It's not too big or too small, it's relatively faithful to the Evolution Pokemon's design, and it's reasonably priced. Not only that, but it has also become one of the go-to LEGO sets released in 2026 for those who want to forego the instructions and make something new.
Now that a lot of LEGO Pokemon sets have been officially announced for August 1, 2026, there will be more critters to collect and build within the hobby. However, these are all Smart Play sets so far, and more sets like Eevee or the Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise trio will likely be few and far between this year. Thankfully, the Eevee set is very flexible based on fan creations, and with a bit of creativity, it may be turned into anything other than Pokemon, too.
