Santa Monica Studios ended the most recent State of Play on a high note, unveiling the next chapter in the God of War series.
God of War has always been led by Kratos. Across all games set in the Greek and Norse eras, the one constant was that players always played as Kratos. That all changes in the next chapter in the God of War franchise. Instead of everyone's favorite war god, players will take control of Laufey (Faye), warrior and wife to Kratos in this new chapter that takes place shortly after her funeral in God of War (2018). With over twenty minutes of footage that sets up the story, showcases Faye's combat abilities, and teases the game's main villains, Santa Monica Studios gives us a lot to digest in this reveal for God of War Laufey.
