Silent Hill: Townfall, the upcoming entry in the survival horror series, will arrive on September 24th. Konami announced the release date yesterday as part of the PlayStation State of Play event.
Like last year’s Silent Hill f, Silent Hill: Townfall will eschew the town of Silent Hill instead. While Silent Hill f took place in Japan, Townfall will be set in Scotland. It will specifically take place on St. Amelia, a fictional town seemingly based on the real-life location of St. Monans.
In addition to being set in Scotland, Silent Hill: Townfall is being developed in Scotland by Screen Burn Interact. Annapurna Interactive and Konami co-publish the horror game.
The story focuses on Simon, a man who returns to St. Amelia to find it covered in fog. This is surprising to him, though not to us. Many creepy happenings begin to go down. Armed with a trusty CRTV television, Simon must get to the bottom of them.
