During yesterday’s PlayStation State of Play, Sony showed off two games back-to-back featuring people avoiding dinosaurs. So you’d be forgiven for thinking that The Lost Wild is part of Tomb Raider: Legacy of AtlantisThe trailer for one, showing a woman navigating a jungle full of dinosaurs, led right into the other, showing… a woman navigating a jungle full of dinosaurs.

So I am happy to tell you dino fans out there that the PlayStation 5 has made room for two games with dinosaurs run amok. While Tomb Raider features dinosaurs among other dangers, The Lost Wild is all about the dinos, baby.

Developed by Great Ape Games and published by Annapurna Interactive, The Lost Wild focuses on survival horror. Remember when dinosaurs were scary? 1993’s Jurassic Park and 1999’s Dino Crisis remember.

That said, The Lost Wild seems to take more of a dino-chewed page out of 2001’s Jurassic Park III. This is to say that it’s not about dinosaurs breaking out and rampaging while you fight them. Instead, it’s about returning to an island already overrun with the prehistoric beasts and sneaking past them. Check out the announcement trailer below to get a sense...
