Fallout fans on Xbox have a brand-new experience available for them to download right now. The Misery Island mod for Fallout 4 is essentially a brand-new DLC-sized expansion to the base game that adds dozens of hours of new content. With Fallout 5 still unlikely to release for quite some time, lore-friendly story mods for Fallout 4 like Misery Island are the next best thing.

Bethesda recently released an update for Fallout 4's Creation storage size that dramatically increased the space available for mods on consoles. Xbox Series X/S players saw their storage space for Creations jump up to a maximum of 100 GB. The result of this update is that more ambitious, larger mods are now available for Xbox players, including the impressive Misery Island mod.

Only a month remains for players to access this Bethesda game before it goes offline on June 30, marking the latest shutdown from the company.
