Phantom Blade Zero will come to PlayStation and PC later than expected after being delayed to October 29, 2026. While the delay is relatively small, it moves the upcoming PlayStation console exclusive closer to Grand Theft Auto 6 at a time when many other releases are trying to avoid Rockstar's launch window.

Phantom Blade Zero was originally announced during the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase. Developed by Beijing-based studio S-GAME, the upcoming game is an action RPG rooted in wuxia, a fiction genre centered on martial artist adventures across ancient China. In December 2025, S-GAME announced that its latest title would launch on September 9, 2026.

An hour-long gameplay video of Phantom Blade Zero highlights the game’s fast-paced combat, intricate level design, and multiple core systems.

Two years following its original announcement, Phantom Blade Zero was featured in the June 2026 PlayStation State of Play showcase, which included a new teaser for the game.
