Crimson Desert is starting to feel like the gift that keeps on giving. Sure, the opening few hours are rougher than sandpaper and the amount of game-breaking bugs on launch would make an exterminator squeamish, but everything since then has been absolutely golden. Pearl Abyss has worked tirelessly since launch making quality of life improvements and squashing those pesky bugs and the results are evident. Crimson Desert is certainly one of the greatest RPGs of this generation, and it's only getting better.
A new developer update announced today, shows Pearl Abyss' dedication to the fans. They've already made one of the greatest open world maps of all time and built a game with countless in-depth mechanics, but they're not just about to rest of their laurels. As with previous updates, they cover a lot of ground and list plenty of improvements, but one item on the list sticks out like a shining beacon to fans. They intend to make some much-needed story improvements: a better narrative. We're totally here for it.
I can personally attest to sinking well over 200 hours in Crimson Desert, and I'm still not feeling any fatigue. This world is glorious fun to...
