Bit Reactor and Respawn Entertainment's Star Wars Zero Company debuted a new gameplay trailer and revealed its launch date at the 2026 edition of Summer Game Fest. The turn-based tactics game was first unveiled in early 2025, and, prior to this new trailer, remained quite mysterious aside from its Clone Wars setting and XCOM-like gameplay framework.
Star Wars Zero Company will be released on August 27, 2026, coming to PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Its new gameplay trailer contributed to the deluge of new video game footage from Summer Game Fest (officially hosted on The Game Awards' YouTube channel), and finally gave us a closer look at how combat will shake out. In the Star Wars Zero Company story, customizable main character Hawks, a former Galactic Republic officer, takes command of a misfit band of characters that is tasked with undertaking clandestine operations during the prequel era's Clone Wars. Zero Company's main target is Kundri Fathom, the "leader of the Separatist-aligned cult, the Infinite Coil," according to a press release.
