Agent 47 Is Making A Comeback With Hitman Classic Trilogy Remastered

Announced at IOI‘s post Summer Game Fest 2026 event, Saber Interactive is teaming up with IO Interactive for the Hitman Classic Trilogy. I kid you not when I say this might be my favorite announcement of Summer Game Fest 2026. Having played every Hitman game since the original multiple times, it has always made me sad that the versions of Hitman: Codename 47Hitman 2: Silent Assassin, and Hitman: Contracts that have native controller support have been trapped on decades old hardware.

I’d love to play these games on PC but they aren’t the type of game that I find myself able to play on mouse and keyboard for accessibility reasons. So, it’s save to say I am absolutely delighted by this news.
