ArenaNet has officially unveiled Guild Wars 3 during Summer Game Fest 2026, marking the long-awaited return of one of the MMORPG genre’s most recognizable franchises. Announced during a special reveal event, the new title is set to launch on PC, Steam, and PlayStation 5, making it the first entry in the series to arrive on home consoles.
The reveal was accompanied by a debut trailer showcasing the first in-engine gameplay footage, offering players a glimpse at a new chapter in the Guild Wars universe. While a release date has not yet been announced, ArenaNet confirmed that the game’s first beta test is planned for Fall 2027.
