Since its release back in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has cemented itself as one of the greatest video games of all time, which makes it all the more frustrating that it is still yet to welcome an official remake or remaster. Yes, it may have received an enhanced version back in 2011 with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time HD for the Nintendo 3DS, but it has still yet to receive a modern-day, next-gen remake, much to fan's dismay.

The good news is that multiple insiders have claimed that Nintendo is mere months away from announcing the long-awaited Ocarina of Time remake, with many expecting it to follow the news of the Star Fox revival. However, in the meantime, creators have been giving us just a glimpse of what a potential next-gen version of Ocarina of Time could look like, and with the use of Unreal Engine 5, the results are breathtaking.
