LEGO has officially revealed the LEGO Architecture Sagrada Familia set, which is officially the biggest-ever set the company has ever released. The set, which will be released later this year, is composed of over 12,000 individual LEGO pieces, usurping the previous title holder - the World Map set.

It's awesome to see the level of ambition found in many recent LEGO sets. The Sagrada Familia will be the second set from this year to break into the top 10 biggest LEGO sets of all time, following the Pokemon Venusaur, Charizard, and Blastoise from February. That set had 6,838 pieces, which puts into perspective just how ambitious the Sagrada Familia set really is.
