Star Wars is, perhaps above all else, the story of Anakin Skywalker, and it's no surprise that the franchise can never quite give him up completely. While the theatrical films have moved on from his character (aside from a brief voice role in The Rise of Skywalker), Anakin has popped up elsewhere in recent years, with Hayden Christiensen himself returning for the Obi-Wan Kenobi and Ahsoka Disney+ shows.

Now, Star Wars has unveiled yet another appearance for Anakin. This time, the franchise is returning more directly to his glory days, with a new story set during the Clone Wars featuring the illustrious General Skywalker himself.

Star Wars Zero Company revealed the inclusion of Anakin Skywalker in a trailer at Summer Game Fest 2026, showing the character in his tunic and tabard from Revenge of the Sith. Set in 20 BBY, Star Wars Zero Company is a new tactical game following a former Republic officer and his elite squad of ragtag operators.
