Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 launches this October, meaning fans will already be playing this new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare entry in less than five short months.
This launch will be fun and momentous for the series, but it is not the game’s release or story campaign that many fans are concerned about, even if Call of Duty is doing its best to quell those fears. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 caused a ruckus on Twitter/X when it began doubling and tripling down on there apparently not being any silly or immersion-breaking crossover cosmetics introduced at launch or throughout post-launch seasonal content.
Anyone who considers themselves a glass-half-full kind of person is likely to be optimistic about this, as the receipts are all out there for fans to hurl back at Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, Infinity Ward, and Activision if Nicki Minaj or Lady Gaga skins suddenly appear.
