Fallout 4 is over ten years old at this point, but it's still a game that players continue to return to in their numbers to get that unique blend of post-apocalyptic humor and over the top gameplay and combat. It's a series with a unique, inimitable style, and as the most recent game of the bunch, it's the one that feels the most complete and least jarring to play in 2026, even though both Fallout 3 and New Vegas have their own advantages over it.
That said, PC players are at a distinct advantage, in that they have access to the widest array of mods and access to the most powerful hardware on the market (funds permitting). Now, one player has pushed those visuals to the absolute limit, and it's something you can replicate yourself with a little bit of technical know-how and an extra beefy graphics card.
