Persona 4 Revival was just shown off at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026. It’s coming out on February 18th, 2027, for PS5, Xbox, and PC. It’s skipping Nintendo Switch 2 at the moment, which as a long time fan of ATLUS and Nintendo, infuriates me.
For context, back in the days of DS and 3DS, ATLUS was a huge supporter of the systems. From Etrian Odyssey to Shin Megami Tensei IV and its’ pseudo-sequel Apocalypse, ATLUS had a new game for the portable console every month or so up until the end of the 3DS’s lifespan in 2018, with that last game of theirs being Persona Q2: New Cinema Labyrinth. I was happy to support them, especially as they learned to develop a game for the Switch 1, which was a new type of console for them in the form of Shin Megami Tensei V.
