Blade Developer Responds to Recent Cancellation Rumors

Xbox fans have been eagerly awaiting more information on Marvel's Blade, and developer Arkane Studios has offered a small update to reassure fans that development on the game is still progressing. Marvel's Blade is an upcoming single-player game that will put players in the role of the eponymous hero. Blade was largely a minor comics character for decades before starring in a trio of films in which he was portrayed by actor Wesley Snipes. The actor reprised the role of Blade in 2024's Deadpool & Wolverine movie.

As of this writing, little information about Marvel's Blade has been revealed. The game will put players in the role of the Daywalker himself, in an adventure set in Paris. Blade will spend the game hunting down vampire foes, and it will take place from a third-person perspective. The brief hints provided by Arkane imply that Blade will have plenty of options to dispatch his enemies, including his trusty sword.
