The Fallout franchise is in a remarkably strong position right now considering that we haven't had a single-player game in the series for over a decade. Much of that is thanks to the recent second season of the Prime Video adaptation, and appetites for more releases tied to the universe are as big as ever.
That leaves most players returning to the older games in the franchise to get their fix for the time being, while we wait to hear more from Bethesda and Todd Howard about what their plans are. There are still releases coming out around those older properties, but fans aren't necessarily happy about the whole thing.
