Immortality comes in a couple of flavors, with the lesser version being the kind where you can die as many times as needed but it just won't take. Stabbed, beheaded, dismembered, roasted, toasted, julienned, it doesn't really matter seeing as a revival is inevitable. Except, and this can't be overstated, it can't really feel all that great. For day to day life that's not really too much of a concern, but for a warrior in a dark fantasy world that's decayed due to the influence of unchecked evil that's a different matter entirely. As a mage knight with incredible powers it takes a lot to put him down, but the Unknown Lands have all that and more at its disposal as an immortal warrior keeps getting introduced to brand new ways to die.
