007 First Light Sequel Gets Positive Update From Amazon

In a recent interview, Amazon's General Manager of Gaming, Jeff Gattis, stated that it "seems like a sequel should be made" following the successful launch of 007 First Light. In the same interview, Gattis also walked back the comment he made last week that seemingly suggested that Amazon Game Studios would publish future James Bond games, including any potential sequels to 007 First Light.

Released on May 27, 007 First Light is enjoying a very successful launch window. From a critical standpoint, 007 First Light currently sits at a Top Critic Average of 88 on OpenCritic, and has a recommendation score of 97%. GameRant's own Dalton Cooper gave 007 First Light an 8/10 in his review, stating that the action-adventure game is a "strong return to form for Bond, and one of his better games to date." 007 First Light is also shaping up to be quite the commercial success, with 1.5 million copies sold in its first 24 hours, and 3 million copies sold as of June 7. And it seems Amazon may be looking to capitalize on this success sooner rather than later.
