Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop has gone ahead and unveiled the contents of its Limited Run collector's edition several months ahead of its September 25 release. Initially billed as a full remake, developer Dragami Games has recently reclassified Lollipop Chainsaw: RePop as a remaster following feedback from fans.

Now over a decade old, the original Lollipop Chainsaw was released in 2012 and became one of the most beloved cult classics of the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 era. The colorful character action game was praised for its incredibly unique premise that follows a high school cheerleader named Juliet Starling as she tears her way through hordes of the undead with her chainsaw. Unfortunately for Xbox 360 fans, Lollipop Chainsaw has since been delisted from the 360 digital marketplace and hasn't been brought over to the Xbox One or Series X|S via backward compatibility. The only way for Xbox gamers to buy the original is to find a used physical copy, but thankfully, Dragami Games' imminent Lollipop Chainsaw remaster will give interested gamers a new way to experience the classic action title.
