Developer Gunfire Games has revealed a name and release window for the third DLC for Remnant 2. Named The Dark Horizon, it will be the last DLC released for Remnant 2, signaling the final piece of major content fans can expect from the game.

July 25 marked the first anniversary of Remnant 2, and the game has experienced a prolific life during that year. Remnant 2 was a bestseller even from the game's launch, topping the Steam charts, netting positive reviews, and even overtaking powerhouses such as CSGO and Baldur's Gate 3 on Steam's top sellers page. The previous two expansions, The Forgotten Kingdom and The Awakened King, sought to enhance the experience with more dungeons, equipment, and lore, and now it seems like The Dark Horizon is looking to close off with the most expansive DLC for Remnant 2.

In order to progress Remnant 2's main story, players may need to find a canister containing the last hope of an entire civilization.
