It's been an eventful afternoon for Mortal Kombat 1, as during its panel at San Diego Comic Con 2024, the second Kombat Pack was revealed, which will include the likes of Ghostface and Noob Saibot. However, that's not all that was revealed. Animalities are back in Mortal Kombat. Yes, you read that right.

While details on how they'll be introduced are scarce, fans at the SDCC panel got a first-hand look at some of the animalities in action, as well as some concepts for them.
As part of the reveal, Mileena was showcased as a Praying Mantis executing her animality. Check it out:
Elsewhere, a detailed concept of Rain's animality was showcased. Through his animality, Rain will apparently transform into a puffer fish, then he'll make his way into the opponent's head before exploding them with the use of needles. Take a look:
