Blizzard has officially revealed Overwatch's latest hero, Shion, in a new cinematic trailer. Hero 52 Shion is a new Damage hero set to join the Overwatch roster with the launch of Reign of Talon Season 3 on June 16, 2026. She is a humanoid omnic character affiliated with the Hashimoto clan and aligned with Talon in their conquest against Overwatch.
Overwatch is in the midst of its year-long content roadmap, dubbed the Reign of Talon. As a part of this roadmap, each new season of Overwatch introduces a brand-new hero for players to enjoy. While specific details on Shion's kit are sparse at the moment, players won't have to wait long to get their hands on the new hero with the start of Season 3 just around the corner.
Overwatch may be in a very good place at the moment, but that doesn’t mean things can’t be better, and reviving one small feature would be a boon.
