Marvel's Wolverine is coming to PS5 this September, and thanks to June's State of Play, X-Men fans have gotten an extended look at the upcoming video game. That trailer also revealed Jean Grey for the first time, sparking plenty of theories that we'd be getting to play as Jean Grey for a few missions — similar to what Insomniac did with Mary Jane in the Marvel's Spider-Man games.
The X-Men have a stacked roster, though, so there's always the potential for even more characters from the team to appear. This isn't even mentioning the various villains who've been confirmed already. Because of this, the field seems wide open for various characters other than Logan to be playable in Marvel's Wolverine. Thanks to a post on Reddit, though, it looks like we finally have an official answer.
When asked directly if we can play as Jean Grey, Insomniac Games responded, "You play as Wolverine/Logan all the way through." You can view the post above. This seemingly confirms there's only one playable character in Marvel's Wolverine, and it's the titular protagonist.
