Despited mixed reviews at launch earlier this year, Crimson Desert has proven to be a gamer with legs as its developer, Pearl Abyss, hasn't been shy about fixing and adding things almost on a weekly basis.
The update cycle for Crimson Desert has impressed its players as Pearl Abyss tends to be reactive and fast in addressing player concerns or fixing areas that may not be hitting as strongly. In fact, this policy was very much intentional as Pearl Abyss revealed why a post-launch roadmap wasn't initially revealed for Crimson Desert, allowing the studio to pivot quickly and release player-first style updates. The plan has been a hit with fans as Crimson Desert has not only added substantial content into the game, it has also addressed a bunch of big concerns such as controls and endgame content. However, with so much already added, Pearl Abyss doesn't appear to be slowing down anytime soon.
