Insomniac Games has officially confirmed one of the main settings players will visit in Marvel's Wolverine, taking the iconic hero to the streets of Tokyo. The initial reveal appeared as part of a major trailer for Marvel's Wolverine during Sony's recent State of Play showcase.

Marvel's Wolverine will officially bring players to one of the biggest cities in the world, allowing fans to roam the streets and rooftops of Tokyo. Insomniac Games revealed that Tokyo will be a featured setting in the game's story via its official social media accounts, sharing a clip from the recent extended gameplay showcase for Marvel's Wolverine. The brief clip shows Wolverine leaping from a rooftop in the Japanese capital, suggesting that players may be able to explore parts of the city when the game releases on September 15. Insomniac Games did not disclose how expansive the game's version of Tokyo will be, only referring to it as a "key story location."
