Palworld developer Pocketpair has issued a statement on the upcoming 1.0 release for the game and "save wipe" concerns. Palworld first released in early access in early 2024 and was an instant smash hit. The "Pokemon with guns" game was praised for expertly blending the thrill of catching unique monsters ala Pokemon with traditional survival game mechanics.
Pocketpair supported Palworld with significant updates during its early access period, dramatically changing certain elements of the game, adding new Pals to catch, and introducing substantial, brand-new areas to explore. Palworld's early access has been an undeniable success, but many fans have been anxious for the game to finally hit Version 1.0 and properly launch. Luckily, Palworld's 1.0 release is right around the corner, though there are some concerned about what it may mean for their existing save files.
