Avatar Officially Returns To The Roku Era In Voyage Of The Unity This October

Nearly two decades after it first premiered, Avatar: The Last Airbender remains one of the most beloved animated series ever made. Blending rich world-building and surprisingly mature storytelling, the Nickelodeon classic continues to attract new generations of fans while maintaining a devoted following among those who grew up with beloved characters like Aang, Katara, Sokka, Zuko, and more.

Further, hype for the franchise is only growing as Avatar Studios prepares to expand the universe in major ways. This fall, Paramount+ will debut The Legend of Aang: The Last Airbender, an animated feature film focused on the Gaang as young adults, while the new sequel series Avatar: Seven Havens is currently slated to arrive in 2027.

However, it's not all great news, as fans recently received a disappointing update when Paramount Skydance officially canceled its long-anticipated AAA Avatar: The Last Airbender RPG, ending hopes for what had been described as the franchise's biggest video game project.
