Ubisoft provides a deep dive of the changes to missions as well as how the Great Inagua hideout has evolved in Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced. One of the worst kept secrets was the existence of Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced after all of the rumors and leaks exposed the title before Ubisoft was ready to announce it. However, once it was officially confirmed earlier this year, it hasn't reduced the excitement of fans eagerly anticipating a return to the Caribbean.

While keeping the original experience largely intact, Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced appears to be a true remake. Featuring overhauled visuals thanks to being rebuilt within the Anvil Engine, Resynced is able to take advantage of modern technological features like enhanced lighting, dynamic weather, 4K/60 FPS, and reduced loading. Parkour and stealth have also been reworked completely, combat has been improved, and fans will likely notice that the naval gameplay has been expanded with more options to take advantage of.
