Bethesda Confirms Disappointing Fallout 76 News

Fallout 76 has no plans to add more out-of-map Expeditions, according to the game's development team at Bethesda. Fallout 76 already features two Expeditions that players can embark on, along with previous map expansions via updates like Skyline Valley and Burning Springs. However, new Expeditions where players leave the main Fallout 76 map of Appalachia and explore a self-contained territory are seemingly off the table for the foreseeable future.

Despite a rocky launch back in 2018, Fallout 76 has maintained a dedicated player base thanks to its consistent stream of new content. Updates like The Ghoul Within breathed new life into the game by allowing Fallout 76 players to become a ghoul, and the upcoming CAMPanions update overhauling the pet system so that players can bring CAMP pets along with them around the Appalachian Wasteland. Some of the best Fallout 76 updates are the ones that added new Expedition content, but those may now be a thing of the past.
