In just a few months, Halo will turn 25 years old. The original Combat Evolved came out in late 2001, as is customary for big Xbox launches, and in 2026, we'll be getting Halo: Campaign Evolved, a full remake of the original sci-fi adventure.
That said, there are still so many unanswered questions in the Halo universe. Some threads have even been reset or yanked at by franchise steward 343 Industries, without fully delivering on them. It remains somewhat of an enigma as far as franchises go, spreading lore across multiple formats, not just games.
Thankfully, there is something on the horizon for fans. Over on Halo Waypoint, we have confirmation that Halo: Fireteam Noble is on the way.
