The cult classic indie game series Alien Hominid is finally coming to current-gen consoles as the developer, The Behemoth, has revealed plans for upcoming HD ports for the PS4 and PS5. There is still no information about a release date, but the studio did confirm that both Alien Hominid games are on their way, so fans and new players alike will have a complete experience when it eventually releases.
Alien Hominid is a 2D side-scroller and action shooter that puts players in the role of a small alien creature blasting its way to freedom from government agents seeking to contain it. The game initally released as a flash game on Newgrounds in 2002 before its console debut in 2004 and later got a sequel, Alien Hominid Invasion, in 2023, which never made it to PlayStation.
