Zelda: The Wind Waker Officially Returns In Jaw-Dropping New Release

The Legend of Zelda has been through more eras over the years than almost any franchise, and not all of them have been as successful as Nintendo was intending. Arguably the most controversial of all at the time of release was Wind Waker, with the cartoon style proving to be the opposite of what fans wanted, and expected, at that time.

Twilight Princess scratched that proverbial itch when it came along, though, and time has been very kind in improving Wind Waker's reputation in the eyes of fans. Underneath the cel-shaded style (which is also a lot more popular these days) is arguably one of the best games in the series from a gameplay perspective, and Nintendo could do a lot worse than returning to it in some form.

If you are, or were, a fan of Wind Waker specifically, there is a new release that you should absolutely be aware of, and it's one of the coolest items for a physical collection that we have seen to date.
