If you're a fan of The Witcher 3, you're probably looking around constantly for news surrounding the series. Although it seems like the game has been fully done for years, you never really know when it comes to this storied franchise.
For one, The Witcher 4 has been fully revealed and is on the way. Even if it's years off, there's still a lot to look forward to. Then there's the surprise DLC for The Witcher 3 that was just announced. Finally, there's a ton of cross-media works coming out at any given time, including books and the ongoing TV show.
This particular release is arguably more exciting than most of the Witcher-related news in the past few years, though. You can now play The Witcher 3 online with friends (via DSOG).
As of today, you can grab the 3.0 release for The Witcher 3 multiplayer project, titled Witcher Online. A lot of progress has been made since the 1.0 edition, including full movement, combat, and appearance syncing with other players. In previous iterations, fewer features were available, and it was more of a "hangout" mod.
Now, it truly is more like a Witcher Online than ever before....
