Overwatch releases its big Season 3 update, bringing quality of life improvements to the game, bug fixes, and tons of new content to discover, like the latest character to join the roster, Shion. Overwatch has been on a roll since the game was rebranded and overhauled back in February, attracting players to come back thanks to the new heroes that have been added along with all the major system changes and overhauls made to further improve the experience.
However, despite all the success so far, it hasn't always been a smooth ride for the game. In fact, controversy erupted during Season 2 when Overwatch's 10th Anniversary celebration began. Pushback from players centered around the lack of meaningful rewards and content, to which Blizzard responded by doubling the amount of rewards that players could earn. Later on, another frustration reared its head surrounding the unique Table Flip anniversary title, which required a fair amount of grinding to earn. Blizzard not only extended the unlock window, but lowered the requirements, while also rewarding those who were able to earn it with a special unlock.
