He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction is finally set for release soon, coming before the end of summer 2026. The classic franchise is having a big resurgence as He-Man and company just recently returned in the summer blockbuster Masters of the Universe movie adaptation.
Announced in August last year, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: Dragon Pearl of Destruction was initially slated for release in April, but was delayed. The retro-styled co-op beat-'em-up doesn't yet have a new, exact release date, but publisher Limited Run Games has confirmed that it will release in summer 2026. In development at Bitmap Bureau, which specializes in nostalgic modern retro games, the game sees players stopping longtime franchise villain Skeletor after he uncovers the exceptionally powerful Dragon Pearl of Destruction.
