There's no doubt that FromSoftware has managed to carve out a specific appeal for itself over the years, with everyone having their own favorite from the continually expanding catalog. Of those, Elden Ring is probably the biggest and most ambitious, fully embracing the open world formula in what is one of the best RPGs of the last decade or more.
Just as Dark Souls did originally, Elden Ring has managed to build up a wider mythos around itself, with the additional DLC and Nightreign adding to the overall tapestry offered by the game. Now, another release is on the way very soon, and it's a beautiful way to appreciate the wider world the game created.
Over on the website for Tune & Fairweather, the bookstore is now taking pre-orders for Lore Bound: Elden Ring Explained, a new anthology that breaks down the existing lore for the game in a beautiful package. It comes as a Deluxe Edition hardback, as well as a cheaper soft cover alternative for those who prefer that format.
